About

I’m a Software Engineer currently building agentic systems, but what motivates me goes beyond technology itself: I enjoy using technology to help people and make their lives a little easier. I came to Finland for my studies, and living here has had a significant influence on the way I see the world and approach my work. Before moving to Finland, I built my own ERP system in Mexico and eventually sold it—one of the achievements I’m most proud of because it taught me what it means to take an idea from conception all the way to something people are willing to use and pay for.Outside my day-to-day work, I like exploring ideas where software engineering can be applied to problems beyond traditional software development. One of those areas is personal finance, which led me to write Money Pipelines, a book about approaching personal finance through the principles and practices of Software Engineering. I’m also particularly interested in Digital Accessibility. I studied accessibility during my master’s degree, and I continue exploring the field in my free time. I’m interested in helping organizations make their digital products more accessible, whether through webpage accessibility assessments, document accessibility, or other practical improvements.Outside technology, I enjoy playing football, swimming, traveling, reading, and, most importantly, spending time with my family. I’m curious about many things and enjoy learning from different perspectives and experiences. My recent reading has included Being Mortal by Atul Gawande, and I’ve also developed a long-term ambition to someday support a football team financially. Whether I’m building software, writing about personal finance, exploring accessibility, or simply learning something new, the common thread is the same: I want the things I do to be useful to others and, in some small way, make their lives easier.
